Ghana Express Mission
You are invited to join Senior Pastors Dave and Jenny Gilpin and the Hope City Leadership Academy for this amazing 10 day mission that is set to change thousands of lives forever!
LAUNCH MISSION: 31st August - 10th Septpember 2010
This is the official launch week which will comprise of outreach in local schools and the university as well as mass promotion on the streets and surrounding communities for night rally meetings and the big opening weekend services with Senior Pastors Dave and Jenny Gilpin. You will also have the opportunity to meet your Compassion child and visit the local beaches and take a walk under the forrest canopy and experience the local landscape.
2010 will be an exciting year for Pastors Andy and Karen Gorman and the Hope City Ghana Team. As part of our 2012 vision the Hope CIty Ghana Team left the UK on Saturday 6th March to set up Hope City’s 6th congregation. They will be running a series of pre-launch services and Connect Groups each week at the city’s Novotel, university campuses and other city venues and then after the football World Cup in July, Hope City Church will be launching the Ghana Express to kick-start the official launch of the congregation.
The Ghana Express
This will be a packed week of exciting days of mission work on the streets and university campuses of Accra, with night rallies at the Novotel Hotel and culminating with two huge services on the Sunday. There will also be an awesome trip to the villages where we at Hope City sponsor over 150 children. You’ll be able to meet the child you sponsor, bring them gifts for them and their family – it’ll be unforgettable for you and your sponsor child!

Tuesday 31st Aug
Fly from Heathrow Airport to Accra.
Travel to Hope City House, Unpack and relax
Wednesday 1st September
Orientation
Prep Street Drama/Evangelism and take it to the streets!
Thursday 2nd September
Hope City Mission in Accra - the Capital City and its schools!
Includes flyering and advertising in city centre Interviews and Street Talk.
Plus we'll be in the classrooms and playgrounds of the schools of Accra.
At night we'll be having our first Night Rally meeting with Ps Dave Gilpin!
Friday 3rd September
Hope City Mission in Accra - the Capital City and its schools!

Visit playground built by last year’s mission team

Last dip in the sea
Travel Back to main compound in Accra

Day at Shangri -la
Evening off to relax/pack up/watch a DVD

EXCURSION
To finish the trip, there is an excursion to the Ghana rain forrest , taking a daring rope walk through the tree top canopy of the forrest**, and then on to the Cape Coast region for some fun at the beach for two nights.
